A message from the artist: Hello, Hello, this design is one of my personal favorites from the 2026 July Art Challenge that I hosted on social media platforms. A little bit of a back story. . . I was a ride or die animal planet kid and that experience gave me access to a lot of information about animals. I learned that otters play tag, have favorite rocks, and express many behaviors that are perceived as evidence of social and emotional intelligence. It is these skills and behaviors that I wanted to use as subject matter to express friendship, specifically a version of friendship, that is playful and kind.
