The Artist
KT is an Everett-based multidisciplinary artist and muralist who creates expressive, contemporary art designed to foster community connection and shared joy. Her creative practice utilizes gouache, acrylic, and watercolor paints to explore the expression of experience and emotion. Deeply inspired by the shifting landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, she uses composition to reflect the duplicity of external experiences and internal reflection. Her paintings are created on cold pressed paper, canvas, wood, and larger-scale murals, with each surface adding a unique dimension to her artistic expression.
Actively engaged in her community, KT has begun to showcases her work at local art booths and hosts private paint-and-sip creative events. Driven by a desire to continue growing in all capacities, she is currently preparing to launch her official artist website this coming August. Guided by a philosophy to try new things as often as possible, her upcoming launch will bring highly anticipated projects off the back burner and into the world. Her artistic evolution is grounded in a continuous goal to consistently look for ways to prioritize sustainability, ensuring her practice remains kind to both others and the environment while sharing joy with everyone she encounters.
